The questions we like to ask about God are endless: "Is God real?" "Is what we know about Him really true?" and "what does He have to do with my life?" just to list a few.
The Bible answers every question about God and one of the areas in which the Bible is definite, is the answer to the question: who is Jesus? C.S Lewis, a well-known Christian author wrote of Jesus, "Either this man was, and is, the Son of God, or else a madman or something worse. You can shut him up for a fool, you can spit at him and kill him as a demon or you can fall at his feet and call him Lord and God, but let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about him being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to."
Jesus commends the Apostle Peter's confession of Him as "the Messiah, the Son of the Living God" (Matthew 16:16), because Jesus knew that is who He is – and could be to us – has the power to change our lives. Jesus is so unique because two worlds collide in him: Heaven and Earth, the Divine and the human.
Yes, His Name is the name above all names, and his star-breathing, storm-calming, miracle-working power is second to none. Yet, He is also the human Jesus, the personal friend who knows what we are going through and cares about us. That's why the Bible also calls Him "Immanuel"- God with us.
Receive Eternal Life
Have you received this life? Eternal life is the gift of God. Romans 6:23
It is the quality of life God Himself possesses - the nature, substance and being of God. It is the real life, the resurrection life. The object of Jesus' earth walk, death, burial and the resurrection was to make it possible for every person to receive this life. John 10:10, John 20:30-31
It is time to recognise that:
All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Rom 3:23
Sin produces death - removal from the life of God, leading to eternal separation from God. Rom 6:23, James 1:13-15.
The price of sin and its consequences has been fully paid by the Lord Jesus - God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself not counting their sins against them.
Repent and accept the sacrifice of Jesus by believing in your heart that He died for your sins and was raised for your justification. Confess Him Lord of your life and live under His Lordship the rest of your life. Romans 10:8-10, 2 Cor 5:13-15. Then, invite the Holy Spirit to make His permanent abode in your life. LK 11:9-13.
If You Want To Born Again
Please pray this PRAYER from your HEART
In the name of the Lord Jesus, I come to you Heavenly Father as a sinner. I believe in my heart that Jesus died for my sins and He was raised for my justification.
I repent of my sins and renounce any contacts with Satan. I ask Jesus to come into my heart and be the LORD of my life. I confess that Jesus is my LORD and accept Him as my Saviour.
I believe I am born again and I have received eternal life. Praise God, I am a new creation in Christ Jesus. Now, I ask you to fill me with your Holy Spirit to overflowing. I fully expect to speak in other tongues as the Holy Spirit gives me utterance. Amen.
Acts 2:21 Romans 10:9-10, Luke 11:13, Acts 2:41
Please let us know if you just prayed the above prayer and gave your Life to Jesus Christ.
